My name is Taryn Pero and I am your HBIC or Head Baker in Charge at Monarch Bakery. What started as a personal passion with at home bread baking has spread its wings into Monarch Bakery. We are a small batch bakery specializing in all sourdough based breads and goodies. The better for you bread comes from the +12 hour fermentation and quality ingredients. We are a small business who believe in creating community and giving back because everyone deserves access to food.

The name Monarch Bakery comes from a challenging time in life and nature had its own way of reminding me that we are capable of growth and evolution. This is a life lesson I have carried very close to my heart in everything I do. That is the core of what Monarch Bakery is to me, always growing and ever changing. Whether its products, flavor combinations or ways to immerse into community and connection we will always be evolving.
